Immune Boosting Oats

The perfect pick me up for cooler mornings, or anytime you feel like a comforting bowl of goodness for breakfast.

Try our take on the classic morning porridge dish with our healthy Immune Boosting Oats recipe.  We’ve added healthy spices and our own Wonder Foods Tangy Vitamin C to give your mornings a boost!

What you’ll need

  • 1 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp Wonder Foods Tangy Vitamin C powder
  • Shredded coconut (optional, choose organic where possible)
  • Honey or Rice Malt Syrup (optional)

What To Do

  1.  In a small saucepan over a low heat, add oats, water, and spices and combine well.
  2. Keep stirring for approx 5 minutes or until water is completely absorbed and is warmed through. Note if mixture is too dry, add a little more water or your favourite milk.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in Wonder Foods Tangy Vitamin C powder.  Add to bowl, sprinkle with shredded coconut and drizzle with honey if you like to sweeten.   Other toppings to try are almonds, blueberries, raspberries and apple.
