Winter Wellness Strategies

 

 

Winter is often labelled as the ‘flu season’, but you don’t have to be a victim. As you pull out your winter woollies, have a think about your strategy to keep well right through to summer.

Tip #1   Munch on Season’s Eats

Our bodies require more fuel during winter to keep us healthy but try to stay away from stodgy breads and pastas, processed foods and too much alcohol as these will only compromise your gut and expose your immune system to be attacked by viruses. Stick to seasonal veggies like pumpkin, carrots, potato, kale and onions to warm your body up.
